본 작업은 전시장에서 전시가 이루어지고, 끝나고, 다시 이루어지는 전시의 과정 중 하나의 반복적 행위에 기인한다.
작업은 전시장에서 직접적으로 이루어지는 수행 작업으로서, 작가는 우선 전시장의 벽면을 전시를 준비하듯 하얀색 페인트로 칠하고 이를 영상으로 기록한다. 그리고 그 다음 날 이 같은 행위를 반복하며, 이 행위는 7일간 반복된다(7일은 1초 1분 하루 일년과 같은 단위로서 특정한 의미 없이 모든 시간을 대표한다). 그리고 얻어진 7개의 영상은 그곳 전시장에서 남은 전시기간 동안 7개의 같은 형태와 크기의 모니터를 통해 상영된다.
여기서 칠하는 행위는 동시에 지우는 행위이기도 하다.

This work results from one repeated action out of the processes to open an exhibition, finish it and open it again in the exhibition hall.
The work is directly performed in the exhibition hall and the artist first paints the walls of the exhibition hall with white color and then video-records this. The following day, this action is repeated and this repetition continues for 7 days. (A week -7 days- is the same unit as 1 second, 1 minute, a day and a year and represents all times with no particular meaning.) Then, the 7 obtained images are shown through the 7 monitors with the same shape and size during the remaining exhibition period.
The action to paint here means the action to erase, at the same time.
